  • Integrative Medicine RN/LVN

    Locations: New Orleans - Lake Charles

    Our client is an elite boutique integrative medicine practice with a niche focus on health optimization, longevity & regenerative medicines. They are seeking that special RN/LVN to join their growing state of the art healing practice.

     

    The ideal candidate will have some exposure to integrative, functional and/or anti-aging medicine in a private out-patient setting and is open to learning more in order to step into a leadership role. Additionally, IV proficiency a must.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manages the daily flow of patients through the office for the assigned physician including greeting patients, screening for information, and giving instruction on collection of samples and tests, as applicable;
    • Perform and record patient medical history, vitals, symptoms and/or conditions as applicable;
    • Checks patient's height and weight;
    • Ensures treatment areas are safe, organized, clean, have well-functioning equipment, and supplies are adequate;
    • Prepare treatment room for next consultation/service;
    • Provides information / instructions to patients and their families;
    • Screen and triage patient calls, handling calls that do not require physician intervention, ensuring phone calls are returned in a timely matter;
    • Assist in Physician/Patient scheduling;
    • Send / receive patient medical records and information;
    • Obtain lab/x-ray reports, hospital notes, and referral information;
    • Review specialized lab results for completeness and notifies Physician of abnormalities and communicates recommended treatment to patient;
    • Complete forms and requisitions as needed, as well as manage patient charts to ensure information is complete;
    • Promote quality patient care and exceed client service expectations;
    • Under provider orders, administer medication;
    • Prepare and administer IV's, pushes and injection therapies as directed by physician;
    • Provide prescription refill management as directed by physician;
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by physician

    Minimum Necessary Skills, Education, & Experience:

    • Requires 3 years of Nursing or similar like position in healthcare.
    • Requires knowledge in healthcare or medical specialty, associated medical tasks, and information that is communicated to patients and families.
    • RN preferred
    • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).

    Physical/Mental Abilities:

    • Ability to learn and retain information regarding proactive optimized approaches to patient care procedures, regulations, medical material management and nutriceuticals;
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task;
    • Ability to handle high patient volume and maximize efficiencies during low-volume periods;
    • HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL!
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Must be able to handle difficult situations in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring for patients and families.

    Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

    EPIC is currently recruiting for a qualified student intern to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana.

     

    The ideal candidate will contribute to new ideas to further enhance EPIC's growth and sales, while also supporting various stages of digital marketing and advertising to our niche market.

     

    The ideal candidate is able to seamlessly transition between independence and team work, and finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of technical sales and marketing.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns through content creation, preparing marketing and advertising strategies, planning and objectives; 
    • Planning and organizing promotional presentations;
    • Preparing marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
    • Keeping promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department and third-party vendors.
    • Supporting sales by providing sales collateral, new content, account analyses, new product information.
    • Conducting outreach for and planning speaking engagements, lunch and learns, and trade shows, as needed;
    • Monitoring budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts;
    • Social media management, organization and updating of content library, optimizing email automation, video and podcast editing, PR outreach, and new customer prospecting.
    • Exploring opportunities to add value to EPIC's sales and marketing efforts and performance.

    REQUIREMENTS:

     

    The ideal candidate...

    • ...is an undergraduate student majoring in a business based curriculum;
    • ... possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a basic knowledge of online advertising;
    • ...is adept with PowerPoint, Word and Excel and Google Drive;
